when it’s time to rally

the struggle is real when you know you need to re-energize before a night out but don’t want to get off the couch. it’s so helpful to have some tools to help get you going, and I think I’ve damn near perfected what I think is the best routine to get your body and mind ready for a night out.

1. make a cocktail or mocktail.

I love having kin europhics when I get ready to get me going. if I am going to have a cocktail, I make a mini tequila soda with a splash of lime.

2. dry brush.

now dry brushing is of course best to do first thing in the morning to wake up your lymphatic system, but I love to do a mini sesh to wake my body up for the night if I am feeling sluggish. it increases blood circulation and reduces inflammation. this Bathing Culture brush has been my go-to for awhile now.

3. take Well Told Health energy boosters.

they give me the best type of energy because I never feel any jitters.

4. blast music.

having music on as I get ready is essential for any mood upper.

5. apply glow drops.

I love the Dr. Strum glow drops as a prep for my skin before moisture. I also use my Jillian Dempsey gold bar for some lift. featured in my au courant edit 01, it is a 24k gold plated vibrating t-bar that helps sculpt and contour the skin.

6. wear an eye mask.

my favorite eye masks are the 111skin sub-zero de-puffing ones. I keep them in the fridge and leave them on for 20 minutes while I do my eye makeup or my hair.
