GOOD DAY PILATES

my favorite thing about this pilates brand is that it is grounded in Physical Therapy. I always leave feeling taller, leaner and overall more aligned. I go to the SoHo location, which is intimate and has great light. Tyler Keller is one of my favorite teachers here so I try to book his class once a week. 

PILATES BY BETH

through my recovery, I have found a new respect for private pilates given I am getting my body to realign back to where it was. I feel so lucky that I found Beth Rodbell because she has allowed me to progress faster and stronger than I expected. every session I am not only challenged, but I am also doing something I haven’t done before. her knowledge of the body is exceptional and I always feel mentally and physically stronger. right now I am doing a duet private with her weekly and it is making all the difference in my form and strength. 

FORWARD_SPACE forward class 

I will never forget my first forward space class; it was pretty life changing. I was going through a lot in my life and I was able to release so much while moving my body and being mentally present. the emotion and the high you feel during class is indescribable, not to mention you are in such an inclusive environment where no judgment is passed. this goes beyond a workout but don’t be mistaken – this workout is no joke with equal parts cardio dance, athletic training, and moving mediation. I try to do this once a week to get my cardio in but also for my mental health check in.
