DR. SMOOD smart meal

I love trying new plant based proteins especially because it is an easy way to get a ton in on the go. I recently started trying Dr. Smood’s smart meal and I am loving it. I like that it has digestive enzymes in addition to fiber and amino-acids – all things I always need more of in my daily intake. plus there’s no added sugars and it’s dairy and gluten free, which I try to be as well. (try being the key word here).

HAPPY DAYS by Gabby Bernstein

I am in the middle of this book but I wanted to share sooner than later because I am very into it. it has made me think about certain things in a different way. I find myself taking notes and wanting to re-read parts, which means I am very much responding to what she is writing. I have to admit when I read the detailed title, ‘the guided path from trauma to profound freedom and inner peace,’ I was semi turned off because it sounded a little too woo-woo for me, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. even if you haven’t or think you haven’t experienced a major “trauma'' in your life, you can benefit from this self help book. january is the perfect time to be open to different perspectives and take a look at experiences in a new way.

NEOM ORGANICS hand balms

so I have to admit my mom turned me on to this hand cream after I had introduced her to the Neom brand. she is always on the hunt for the best hand creams and swears by this one, and now I do too. it is made with cocoa and shea butter and blended with essential oils. I like the ‘calming’ hand balm during the day and the ‘perfect night sleep’ at bedtime.

BOISSON ‘Noughty Rouge’

ok so hear me out. I am not doing dry january but I am doing damp january, and ever since I discovered Boisson, it has opened my eyes to actually good wine with little-to-no sugar. instead of looking for non-alcoholic wine, I have learned to look for dealcoholized or “alcohol removed” wine because those terms can only be used if there is a 0.5% alcohol by volume or less. this way you are drinking real wine, (grapes are grown, harvested and fermented), but before the wine is bottled, the alcohol is removed by either vacuum distillation and reverse osmosis. and lets be real… better sleep, no hangovers and being mentally healthy sounds good too.

ATHLETIC GREENS

so I love Athletic Greens when I can’t get enough greens in my diet. I’m always on the go so it helps fill in my nutrient gaps and helps my gut health over all, as it gets me what I need instantly. I am dedicated to being consistent with it this month especially. price point doesn’t hurt either.
